Be Part of the Magic on Christmas Eve at NRUMC!

We’re expecting 2,000+ people to join us in person across 5 services, and we have about 150 volunteer roles to fill. Most roles do not require previous experience—just a willing heart and a cheerful spirit! Your help makes Christmas Eve warm, welcoming, and joyful for everyone who walks through our doors.

Sign up for a role in Planning Center at this page. Roles include ushering, greeting, helping with candles, serving communion, and more.

Important details:

• Most roles cannot be done simultaneously at the same service because they overlap.
• The Usher Lead counts as one of our usher numbers, so please do not sign up for both.
• Ushers are needed during communion, so you cannot do both roles.
• Kids are welcome to serve with parents in all these roles, but only sign up and take an official slot if they meet the minimum age listed for the role.
• If a role has already been organized, you still need to sign up here. If there's any issues with signups contact Carly or Pastor Jen and we’ll handle the signup for you.

A fun opportunity: We’d love to create a festive reception area in the Fellowship Hall with cookies, coffee, and refreshments to welcome people from 2:45 PM–9:30 PM. We’ll need a few leaders to make this happen—if that sounds like something you could help with, please contact Pastor Jen directly. Let’s make this extra spot of welcome a sweet, warm place for everyone!
